The road to Zion National Park
The Excitement Builds
I've heard really great things about Zion but didn't realize I was within striking distance. Can't wait to get down there. I was starting to let the storms get me down, but right on queue the storm started to break and I got off the main interstate and worked my way down HWY 89.
Here, HWY 89 drives through Main Street of some small towns that have great character, although I found a few other sights that caught my eye.
That's right, a skeleton driving a tractor!

Had to slam on my breaks for this. I finally get to see a buffalo! He did decide to photo bomb a few of my pics. I get it, he sees people like me all day. Why not spice things up a bit? At least he has a sense of humor.
This puts me a few short miles from Zion. Here goes nothing...
